Rideable Horses

Finnegan

Breed: Standardbred/ Mustang grade

Sex:  Gelding

Age: DOB 4/26/24

Height:  Currently 13.3 and growing (likely medium pony sized )

Color: Flashy Roan
Suitable for: Ideal adopter should have experience raising/ training young horses- or have trainer support
Adoption Fee:  $1500

Flashy, goofy,  laid back, and always looking for something to carry off, Finnegan is the definition of a fun young horse. Whether it’s the lead rope, something hanging on the wall, or an item left on the ground, this boy loves to investigate and keep himself entertained. He adores scratches and is an all around good boy!

Born in April 2024, this handsome Standardbred/Mustang cross is currently standing around 13.3 hands and continues to grow and mature. Finnegan is very much a “go with the flow” type — more whoa than go — and takes new experiences in stride. He attended his first show last fall where he quietly soaked everything in, and he has also been hand-walked on local trails with the same calm and easygoing attitude
.Finnegan walks and trots nicely on the lunge line and has started cantering, though he still needs strength and encouragement to maintain forward motion as he builds muscle and confidence. He knows basic showmanship, ties well on the wall or cross ties, stands nicely for the farrier, and picks up all four feet. He is comfortable being handled during everyday farm chores — you can lead him out while carrying a wheelbarrow or dragging a hose and he barely bats an eye

Finnegan was born on our farm 4/26/24, his mother Katie arrived pregnant (search our Facebook page for lots of baby pictures). Finnegan was adopted in the fall of 2024, has had a wonderful start in life, but his adopter has made the difficult decision to rehome him.

Corbin

Sex:  Gelding

Age: DOB 4/10/25

Height:  Should finish large pony, small horse size

Color: Flashy Chestnut
Suitable for: Adopter must have experience raising/ training young horses
Adoption Fee:  $1000

Corbin was born on our farm, his mother Serendipity (Seren) arrived pregnant, recently gathered from a free roaming herd - more information about their history can be found here

https://www.kyhumane.org/equine/free-roaming-horses

Corbin is a colt with a bold personality and a solid start to life. He can be caught, leads, and is learning to stand for the farrier. His mother—is a beautiful mare with floaty movement—and Corbin is expected to grow into a sturdy, well-built horse.

Corbin himself is stunning—a chestnut with lots of chrome, floaty movement, and a fancy look that’s sure to turn heads. He’s spunky, curious, and a bit sassy, so he’ll need an experienced trainer familiar with starting foals to guide him as he matures. With the right support, Corbin has the potential to become a great partner.

If you're ready to bring along a young colt with a good foundation, eye-catching looks, and a bright future, Corbin might be the one for you.

Adopt Me!

Huey- Adoption Pending!!

Breed: Quarter Horse

Sex:  Gelding

DOB:  2021

Height: ~15.2

Color: Roan

Adoption Fee: $1500

Current Training level: Unstarted under saddle

Huey is a stunning 5-year-old bay roan with flashy markings and a sweet, curious personality. He is charismatic, social, people-oriented, and genuinely enjoys human interaction, often seeking out attention and engagement.

Huey has had a start in groundwork training and is currently working on good walking manners, lunging, tacking, standing at the mounting block, and giving to contact. He is brave and confident and would make a willing trail horse with time and training. He sustained an injury as a yearling and now has a fused right hind pastern, our vets feel a low-impact, non competitive riding career is in his future!

Xrays and medical records available to adopter

Reportedly, in his previous environment, he spent most of his life isolated from other horses, and spent extensive time stalled.  Huey was gelded in February 2026, shortly after arrival, and was introduced to a herd of geldings in early March 2026. He is absolutely thriving in a herd and living outside 24/7. He displays stress behaviors when stalled, but that may improve in time.  While he is a respectful guy, he has had no exposure to mares while with us - and we can't speculate on whether he could live with/ near them at this time.

Huey is still learning manners and how to be a good equine citizen & stand for the farrier. He can be reactive in certain situations, so he still requires an advanced handler or trainer who can continue his training and help him reach his full potential. If you’re looking for a handsome young gelding with a great brain and the potential to continue developing with experienced guidance, Huey may be the perfect match.

Always the first to greet you at the gate, Sasha thrives on attention and connection, making her an exciting partner for someone ready to help shape her future.

  • Leads confidently around her pasture
  • Backs up willingly

  • Accepts dewormer and injections like a champ

Sasha is incredibly smart and quick to learn — but like all babies, she’ll need clear boundaries, consistent training, and lots of patience. Valencia- Adoption Pending!!

Breed: Grade (Paint/Quarter Horse Type)

Sex: Mare

Age: 21

Height:  ~15hh

Adoption Fee:  $750
Suitable for:  Confident Rider (needs a refresher under saddle)

Or Companion- shes loves attention!

Valencia is a sweet and stunning grade Paint mare with a kind personality and a social nature. She enjoys attention, loves being groomed, and is a pleasant presence in the barn. She gets along well with other horses and is looking for a home of her own.

She stands well for the vet and farrier, trailers quietly, and can live outside 24/7 or be stalled at night without issue. As a companion horse, she requires no maintenance and is generally straightforward kind, she would make a wonderful addition to any herd.

Valencia does have a history of being ridden, though we don’t know the full extent of her past training. During her time with us, she showed some willingness under saddle but some bucking that became more apparent during training and was likely present previously. She has been fully vetted. However she is truly a lovely mare on the ground. To be ridden or in work, she requires maintenance, but not as a companion horse.
