Annie is a beautiful Paint mare with a sweet personality and just enough spunk to keep things fun! She is a personable, enjoyable mare who would make a wonderful riding companion for someone looking for a fun horse to enjoy and spend time with.
Annie is continuing to develop a nice, consistent walk and trot, and her canter is coming along as well. She has a decent amount of energy and is learning to channel that energy into good manners and becoming a more reliable partner. She benefits from consistency, clear communication, and a rider who is comfortable helping her stay focused.
Annie is a good trail horse with a confident rider and would be well suited to someone looking for a companion for trail riding, casual riding, or other lower-intensity disciplines. She has enough personality to keep things interesting and is the kind of mare who can be a lot of fun once you get to know each other.
She is good for the vet and farrier and can either be stalled at night or live outside with appropriate shelter in a herd of mares. Annie does require ongoing hock maintenance and shoes. Due to a history of rotation she also needs thoughtful diet and pasture management, including limited access to grass.
Annie is best suited to a confident, capable rider who is comfortable with a mare who is still polishing her manners and consistency. She isn't looking for a high-pressure job—she would much rather find someone who wants a fun, enjoyable riding partner for trails and leisurely adventures. With the right home, Annie could be a wonderful
recreational riding companion—sweet, spunky, beautiful, and ready to find her person.

9/1/26 Fairy Tale is a sweet, very green mare who is looking for an experienced rider or trainer to continue her education. She is still learning the basics under saddle, including confidently moving off the leg, and can overreact when she is unsure or worried about something. She will need continued training and a patient, confident rider.
On the ground, Fairy Tale is very sweet and easy to handle. She lunges and leads well, ties and cross-ties, has good in-hand manners, and stands nicely for grooming, tacking, and mounting.
Fairy Tale would benefit from a lighter workload in the future, such as walk/trot riding and trails once she is ready. She requires shoes for comfort due to very thin soles; films are available.
She was lightly started in her previous home and was reportedly a walk/trot horse with extensive trail experience, but had not been ridden for over a year when she arrived and needed a restart. We have not yet evaluated her on trails ourselves.
Fairy Tale is available to someone experienced with green horses who can continue her training and help her build confidence.

KA Kasuco

Kasuco is a charming and personable gelding. Double registered with ANCCE (PRE) and the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association. with a handsome dappled grey coat and a sweet, people-loving personality. At 15 years old, he is looking for a partner to continue his journey.
Kasuco was started under saddle as a 3-year-old but then spent many years out of work. Since being restarted, he has impressed us with how quickly he is relearning his training. He is confidently working at the walk and trot, developing a balanced canter, and learning lateral work. His beautiful, floaty movement and willing attitude make him an exciting dressage prospect.
Kasuco is a sensitive horse who needs a confident and experienced rider who can be clear with what they are asking as he has the potential to become overwhelmed quickly when confused. As he continues his restart, he is developing a better understanding of the rider's leg and is becoming more confident in carrying himself forward. He is intelligent, eager to learn, and has tremendous potential for someone who enjoys bringing along a talented horse.
He requires front shoes and light hock maintenance (radiographs available) to stay comfortable in work and continues to build strength and fitness with regular riding.
Most of all, Kasuco is simply a lovely gelding to be around—kind, friendly, and always happy to spend time with his people. If you're looking for a handsome Andalusian with expressive movement, a wonderful temperament, and lots of potential, Kasuco could be your perfect match.

Update as of 7/13/26 - Lani has made great progress in her training and is comfortably lunging at the walk trot and canter, and learning to carry a smooth trot under saddle. She stands well at the mounting block, has great ground manners, and is a joy to work with!
Lani is an adorable and spunky 15-year-old cob-type palomino paint mare ready for her next chapter. She is truly one of the sweetest horses you will ever meet, with a kind, affectionate personality and an expressive nature that quickly wins people over. Lani loves attention and enjoys being part of whatever is going on around her, making her a favorite among volunteers, staff, and visitors alike.
Lani is learning to be a trail horse and continues to gain confidence and experience. Lani naturally has a big, forward walk and enjoys moving out, so she does best with a confident rider who is comfortable with a forward horse.
Lani will benefit from an experienced rider who can provide guidance and consistency. While she is proving herself to be a capable trail partner, much of her future education will focus on developing correct movement under saddle.
She has not had extensive education in proper self-carriage and balance and is currently learning to move in a more correct and balanced way. She has shown gaited tendencies under saddle while also walking, trotting, and cantering on the lunge line. Because of this, she would benefit from a knowledgeable rider who can continue her education, whether that means progressing her balanced trot work or developing a correct saddle rack while avoiding a pace and teaching a proper, stretching headset.
This little mare is truly an absolute joy, she is the type of horse people fall in love with. Her sweet, personable nature and expressive personality make her a pleasure to be around, and she genuinely enjoys spending time with her people.
She currently requires shoes and medication to manage her insulin resistance, along with proper pasture and diet management. In addition to this, if in regular work, Lani would benefit from hock maintenance.
Lani is best suited for a confident, experienced rider who can continue her education and help her build strength, balance, and trust. She would thrive in a home that appreciates a forward, willing mare with a fun and spunky personality.

This young (approx. 4 yr old) mare has made wonderful progress and is ready for her person. Her past is a mystery and she is looking to the future. She was roaming the woods unhandled and very fearful. She is currently in West Virginia for training and can be adopted from there.
Lita is now able to be caught in the field, haltered and led. She stands for flyspray and grooming, she loves scratches! She also stands for the farrier.
Lita is working hard on developing social skills within a herd and confidence with strangers. She is learning to lunge and stand for bathing. She is also developing her trailer loading and unloading skills.
*She has a old scar on her right hind that the vet has cleared as cosmetic, and is learning how to use her hind end properly, but they feel confident she will be fine for light riding and isn't painful.*

Update as of 8/27/26 Sicily has made so much incredible progress in her training that we felt an update was in order! Sicily has been in a structured training program and has learned lots of groundwork skills and all the required things to prepare her for riding. She has been recently started under saddle and is making good progress. She stands well at the mounting block, and is learning the basics of steering, moving off of leg, and giving to contact at the walk and trot. Sicily is still very green and sensitive with the potential to be reactive. She requires an experienced trainer who is knowledgeable with starting and retraining sensitive horses.
Sicily has come out of her shell and is turning into a lovely, kind horse when she has a bond with her person. She is willing to learn and work with her rider when you allow her time to be curious and work through things. She is a joy to work with!
Sicily is a Saddlebred mare with an unknown training history who is currently making steady progress in a structured training program with daily handling. She has worked through the basics of round pen work and is now a pro at groundwork, she lunges, ground drives, moves off of pressure, and gives to contact. Sicily is currently looking for a trainer home who can continue her training.
Sicily is a very sensitive and reactive horse who is still learning how to be a calm, consistent equine citizen. She is bad for injections and is learning to stand for the farrier without sedation. She can also be difficult to catch. She is willing and tries hard, but she needs clear, patient handling as she continues to build trust.
Because of her sensitivity, Sicily will require an experienced trainer who is comfortable working with nervous or flighty horses and can continue her training safely and consistently.
Overall, Sicily is an incredibly sweet mare with a lot of potential. With the right person who understands her needs and is willing to put in the work, she could become a very rewarding partner.
