Adopt Me!

Coco

Breed: Quarter Horse

Sex:  Mare

Age: 2006

Height: 16 hh

Color: Chestnut

Suitable For: Intermediate home

Adoption Fee: $2,500

Coco is a super sweet 20 year old QH mare. Coco has a long history of being ridden and has proven herself to be experienced under saddle, demonstrating a nice walk, trot, and canter, as well as understanding contact and steering very well. She recently trailered off site for a trail ride with a large group and did well. She would likely be more suited to someone with some experience, as she was happiest in the front of the pack. If Coco could speak, she'd vote to spend the rest of her riding career on the trail.

As a very experienced older gal, she requires maintenance and shoes to be comfortable as a riding horse but she is well worth it! Her previous owner reported she does not single tie, but she has done well in cross ties with us. She is looking for the right person, who will value the experience and training she has to offer.

Adopt Me!

Cody

Breed: Morgan

Sex:  Gelding

Age: 9

Height: 14.2hh

Color: Chestnut

Suitable For: Under evaluation

Adoption Fee: $2000

Meet Cody — a super cute 9-year-old chestnut Morgan gelding standing 14.2 hands high with a sweet personality and a great foundation for the right home.

Cody is easy to catch, enjoys attention, and has excellent ground manners. He is good for the vet and farrier, leads politely, trailers well, stalls quietly, and happily lives outside in a herd of geldings. He has a solid groundwork foundation and is currently lunging at the walk and trot with a developing canter, while also learning round pen work.

Under saddle, Cody is still green but progressing nicely. He is showing a soft, willing walk and trot and is learning contact, flexion, steering, and moving off leg aids. He has also been on a short trail ride with another horse and handled it very well.

Because Cody is still early in his ridden training, he is not suitable for a beginner rider or inexperienced home. He will require an experienced trainer or confident horse person with a strong background in developing green horses so he can continue progressing successfully and safely.

Cody has the potential to become a wonderful trail and pleasure horse for someone willing to continue his education and build his confidence.

Looking for two horses? Check out Santos — Cody would love to be adopted alongside his longtime best friend, though it is not a requirement.

Adopt Me!

Corbin

Breed: Grade

Sex:  Gelding

Age: DOB 4/10/25

Height:  Should finish large pony, small horse size

Color: Flashy Chestnut
Suitable for: Adopter must have experience raising/ training young horses
Adoption Fee:  $1000

Corbin was born on our farm, his mother Serendipity (Seren) arrived pregnant, recently gathered from a free roaming herd - more information about their history can be found here

https://www.kyhumane.org/equine/free-roaming-horses

Corbin is a colt with a bold personality and a solid start to life. He can be caught, leads, and is learning to stand for the farrier. His mother—is a beautiful mare with floaty movement—and Corbin is expected to grow into a sturdy, well-built horse.

Corbin himself is stunning—a chestnut with lots of chrome, floaty movement, and a fancy look that’s sure to turn heads. He’s spunky, curious, and a bit sassy, so he’ll need an experienced trainer familiar with starting foals to guide him as he matures. With the right support, Corbin has the potential to become a great partner.

If you're ready to bring along a young colt with a good foundation, eye-catching looks, and a bright future, Corbin might be the one for you.

Adopt Me!

Finnegan

Breed: Standardbred/ Mustang grade

Sex:  Gelding

Age: DOB 4/26/24

Height:  Currently 13.3 and growing (likely medium pony sized )

Color: Flashy Roan
Suitable for: Ideal adopter should have experience raising/ training young horses- or have trainer support
Adoption Fee:  $1500

Flashy, goofy,  laid back, and always looking for something to carry off, Finnegan is the definition of a fun young horse. Whether it’s the lead rope, something hanging on the wall, or an item left on the ground, this boy loves to investigate and keep himself entertained. He adores scratches and is an all around good boy!

Born in April 2024, this handsome Standardbred/Mustang cross is currently standing around 13.3 hands and continues to grow and mature. Finnegan is very much a “go with the flow” type — more whoa than go — and takes new experiences in stride. He attended his first show last fall where he quietly soaked everything in, and he has also been hand-walked on local trails with the same calm and easygoing attitude
.Finnegan walks and trots nicely on the lunge line and has started cantering, though he still needs strength and encouragement to maintain forward motion as he builds muscle and confidence. He knows basic showmanship, ties well on the wall or cross ties, stands nicely for the farrier, and picks up all four feet. He is comfortable being handled during everyday farm chores — you can lead him out while carrying a wheelbarrow or dragging a hose and he barely bats an eye

Finnegan was born on our farm 4/26/24, his mother Katie arrived pregnant (search our Facebook page for lots of baby pictures). Finnegan was adopted in the fall of 2024, has had a wonderful start in life, but his adopter has made the difficult decision to rehome him.

Adopt Me!

Kalli

Breed: Arabian

Sex:  Mare

DOB:  5/7/2017

Height: 15 hh

Color: Chestnut
Suitable for: Experienced Home (intermediate/advanced rider)  or Trainer
Adoption Fee:  $3,500

Kalli is the sweetest and smartest Arabian mare you will ever meet. She is kind and beautiful and is looking for her new home as a project horse. She has lovely floaty gaits, she is curious and is learning to be confident in her training. With continued training she has the potential to  excel in a variety of disciplines but particularly dressage, endurance, or trail. At 9 years old Kalli is still learning, but has a solid foundation in training, she is learning good manners and groundwork skills. She was under saddle when she arrived,  while with us, she has had a number of rides under saddle, working walk, trot and developing canter. Kalli is learning to carry herself and move correctly, and to not work in overcollection, so she would need a home knowledgeable in helping a horse carry a proper headset, stretch out, and have self carriage, and to not work in hyperflexion.

Kallie is currently showing intro-level dressage tests and recently scored a 66.88 on Intro A, earning herself 4th place!

She is also learning to be confident on the trails, and has been ridden out with another horse.

Areas of improvement: Kalli is working on standing calmy for haltering, bridling, tacking, walking through gates and stalls, and being turned out in the pasture. She is making great progress but still needs a calm and confident handler with experience re-starting sensitive horses.

This lovely little mare will capture the heart of anyone who puts the time into training her, she is kind and expressive and would make a great partner for someone who appreciates a mare with personality.

Adoption Fee:  $500

Meet Kit-Kat, a truly sweet and affectionate mare who loves people and thrives on attention. Kit-Kat loves baths, grooming, and spending time with her humans, making her a wonderful companion horse. She also does well with other horses and enjoys living in a herd environment with mares.

After successfully undergoing surgery for ovarian cysts, Kit-Kat is returning to her kind self. She trailers well, ties, stalls quietly, and lives with a herd of mares.

Lani

Breed: Grade

Sex:  Mare

Age: 15

Height: 14.0hh

Color: Palomino Pinto

Suitable For: Under Evaluation

Adoption Fee: $1500

Lani is an adorable 15-year-old cob-type, gaited palomino paint mare. Lani is ready for the next chapter of her journey. She is currently working on being a good trail horse, but needs more miles and confidence. She crosses obstacles, including bridges, logs, and tunnels, and can ride solo or in a group, though she has a fast walk and likes to lead. However she still needs training from an advanced rider to learn good manners and to be a steady trail horse. She has great manners, lunges, ties, stands at the mounting block, leads calmly, and stands well for the vet and farrier. She requires shoes to be sound as a riding horse.

At this stage, Lani would do best with an confident, experienced rider who can continue her education and help her build strength, balance, and trust. Adopt Me!

Mia

Breed: Gypsy Vanner / Quarter Horse Cross

Sex:  Mare

DOB:  5/1/2015

Color: Black and White Pinto

Adoption Fee: $4000

Mia

Mia is a beautiful Gypsy Vanner/Quarter Horse cross with a bright future ahead of her.  She has a fun & affectionate personality.

She is seeking an experienced, patient home committed to continuing her education and helping her reach her full potential.

Mia is green broke, and in the early stages of her riding career. She has had a handful of rides under saddle in a round pen with support from a ground person and is currently learning the basics of steering, moving off leg pressure, and halting. She will need an experienced trainer or horse person who is comfortable bringing along green horses and can provide the consistency and confidence-building she needs to succeed.

On the ground, Mia is still developing her manners and foundational skills. She is learning to lead politely and can occasionally take extra encouragement to come into the barn. She can be pushy and reactive at times, so she benefits from clear boundaries, consistent handling, and confident leadership.

While Mia is making excellent progress, she still has significant training needs. She will thrive in an experienced adult home that can continue building her skills and confidence.

At this stage, she is not suitable as a children's horse  or partner for novice riders.

Mia is highly intelligent, people-oriented, and genuinely enjoys interacting with her handlers. Under saddle, she is already beginning to demonstrate lovely movement. With continued training, she has the potential to excel in working equitation, western disciplines, trail riding, or dressage.

Mia does best in a herd with a strong, confident lead mare who can teach her manners.

Mia requires only light management for insulin resistance and will need the appropriate diet/pasture management

Santos

Breed: Mustang/ TWH

Sex: Gelding

Age: 16

Color: Black

Suitable For: Under Evaluation

Adoption Fee: $2000

Meet Santos — a super handsome 16-year-old black Mustang/Tennessee Walker gelding with a striking white blaze and a sweet, willing personality.
