George is being offered as a project pony for a confident and experienced trainer. He was previously placed with a trainer and had a solid foundation in groundwork and has previously carried a saddle and rider, however he developed some undesirable behaviors under saddle, prompting his return to us. He has been fully evaluated and vetted as sound (films available) and is now is ready to be restarted under saddle to set him up for long-term success. With the right guidance, he has all the ingredients to become a fantastic partner.

On the ground, George truly shines.

  • Leads and lunges well
  • Stands quietly for grooming and picking up his feet
  • Is good for the vet and farrier
  • Ties, stalls politely, and lives well in a herd of geldings

He is smart, willing, and very people-aware, but he can be nervous and occasionally reactive in certain situations. Because of this, he requires a confident, knowledgeable trainer who can provide clear direction and consistency. He can sometimes be a bit standoffish and may be mildly hard to catch, but once you build a relationship with him, he shows his sweet and thoughtful nature.

George is the perfect project for someone who enjoys developing young ponies and bringing out their full potential. With patience, structure, and restart under saddle, this spunky little roan could truly blossom into something special.

If you’re looking for a fun, smart pony with personality plus — and you have the skills to help guide him — George might just be your next rewarding project

Adopt Me!

Molly

Breed: Haflinger

Sex:  Mare

DOB: June 2003

Height: 13.2

Adoption Fee: $1500

Coming soon! Molly will be  Available for adoption starting 4/9 at

 Equine Affaire!

Meet Molly (Leda Tilly), quite possibly the cutest Haflinger you’ll ever lay eyes on!

Molly is a spectacular trail horse who truly shines outside the arena. She rides out with confidence and ease, solo or in a group, is not spooky, and takes new obstacles in stride—whether it’s water, bridges, logs, tarps, or anything else you might encounter on the trail. She’s happy to lead or follow and keeps a nice, steady pace, making her a dependable and enjoyable partner for any outing.

In the ring, Molly is continuing her education. She is comfortably working at the walk and trot and is learning to balance, soften to contact, and maintain a consistent rhythm and self-carriage. She’s a willing learner and enjoys having a job, and continues to work on losing weight and building muscle. Molly requires light maintenance.

On the ground, Molly is incredibly sweet and personable. She leads well, ties, cross ties, and lunges at the walk and trot. She does, however, have a bit of a pushy side at times with groundwork, handling, and mounting, so she will benefit from a handler who can provide clear, consistent boundaries.

Molly is also expanding her skillset and is currently learning how to pony another horse from her back, showing her versatility and usefulness.

She gets along well in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and can live outside or be stalled without issue.

Molly would make a lovely riding partner for someone looking for a safe, fun, and adorable horse to enjoy on the trails and continue developing in the arena.

Height:  ~15hh

Adoption Fee:  $750

Valencia is a sweet and stunning grade Paint mare with a kind personality and a social nature. She enjoys attention, loves being groomed, and is a pleasant presence in the barn. She gets along well with other horse and is looking for a home of her own.

She stands well for the vet and farrier, trailers quietly, and can live outside 24/7 or be stalled at night without issue. As a companion horse, she requires no maintenacne and is generally straightforward kind, she would make a wonderful addtion to any herd.

Valencia does have a history of being ridden, though we don’t know the full extent of her past training. During her time with us, she showed some willingness under saddle but some bucking that became more apparent during training and was likely present previously. She has been fully vetted. However she is truly a lovely mare on the ground. To be ridden or in work, she requires maintenance, but not as a companion horse.
