Jenny is a sweet, social donkey with a personality all her own. She enjoys being around people and other animals, happily sharing her space with ponies, horses, geldings, and mares. Jenny thrives living outdoors with access to shelter and appreciates being blanketed during wet weather to stay comfortable.
Like many donkeys, Jenny has a strong will —she knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to show it! She is currently learning to lead and will do best with a handler who understands donkey behavior, but does well with the farrier.
Jenny is up to date on all her medical care and is on a journey toward better health. She came into care significantly overweight (currently on medication to lower her insulin levels) and is steadily working on losing weight. As for all donkey's she will need a low to no grass pasture setup and a home committed to maintaining a proper diet.

Meet Roscoe!
Roscoe is a 20-year-old mule with a gentle heart and excellent manners. He walks politely on a lead, and stands quietly for the vet and farrier. He’s happy living in a stall or outdoors and gets along well with both mares and geldings.
As a member of our volunteer groom team, Roscoe absolutely loves attention and enjoys spending time with people—especially going for relaxed walks. He’s a calm, kind companion who would be a perfect match for someone looking for a sweet, steady friend to share their days.
