Karen is a mini mule with basic handling skills and plenty of room to grow. She can be caught, led, and is working on having her feet picked up.  She may need sedation for initial farrier visits.  She will readily approach for attention, and face scratches,  but can be quite shy- she is still fairly unhandled overall and needs continued, consistent training to build her confidence and experience.

Karen will do best with an experienced adopter, especially someone familiar with mules and their unique needs. She’s smart, observant, and ready to keep learning with the right partner.

Like all mules, she requires careful pasture management and should be kept on a dry lot with little grass to maintain a healthy weight and stay sound.

Her previous owner reported she can be aggressive towards dogs, and can test electric fences, we don't either at HH and can't verify.
