How it works

Step #1

Complete an Adoption Interest Survey to tell us about your handling/riding experience and the type of horse you’re interested in.

Step #2

Conversation. We’ll be in touch within 72 hours of submission. Our Adoption Coordinator may reach out via email first, followed by a phone call. We require photographs of available shelter (three sided structure at minimum), fencing safe, food storage, water availability and other equines if applicable.

Step #3

Visit the farm and meet the horses. If we have a potential match for you, we will schedule a visit with our Adoption Coordinator.

Step #4

Take your new partner home! Sign contract, pay adoption fee and schedule pick up. If you are struggling to find transport, we have reliable referrals and we can deliver within a reasonable distance from Horses’ Haven with a donation to cover time and gas.
