Bandit is pasture sound with a daily NSAID due to some arthritis. He is a member of our volunteer groom team and loves spending time with his grooms and going for walks.
He’s looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can be a cherished companion and continue spending his days in comfort and good company.

Belle is a spirited, kind, Rocky Mountain mare ready for retirement after a long, well-lived life. She gets along well in a herd of mares and can also be comfortably stalled.
Due to her age and limited teeth, Belle needs soaked feed and soaked hay cubes as her primary diet. She also requires Pracend to manage Cushing’s. With these simple accommodations, she stays comfortable and content.
Belle has a genuinely pleasant disposition and would make a wonderful addition to a calm, caring home looking for a gentle pasture companion.

Meet Dolly-Sue, a 13-year-old, 14 hh pony paint mare who’s absolutely gorgeous and knows it… but don’t expect her to do much more than look fabulous while standing in a field. If your dream horse is one you never have to take out of the pasture, congratulations — your search is over.
Dolly-Sue is a social butterfly who loves attention, scratches, and hanging out with her herd (and yes, she’s even lived with cows — she’s very open-minded ). She’ll greet you at the gate, pose for photos, and soak up all the love... as long as things stay calm.
Here’s the deal: Dolly-Sue is a great pasture companion, not a project or performance horse. She can bolt in stressful situations — and not like, a dainty “oopsie” trot-off… more like, “new personal best in the 100m dash.” So she’s not a match for kids, beginners, or showing.
But if you want a sweet, funny, and drama-free mare who’ll keep the whole herd happy and charm every human she meets, Dolly-Sue is your girl. She gets along with everyone — horses, cows, people, she’s even good for farrier & vet and she’ll happily supervise pasture life like the pretty little queen she is.

She is an affectionate mare who enjoys being around people. She has no prior training experience or saddle training, but would make a lovely companion and nice addition to any herd.

Out in the pasture he is a wonderful buddy, sets a good example for his herd mates, and loves to play halter tag with his friends. He is happy with 24/7 turn out but he is also fine in a stall.

He requires light maintenance of Pracend, a daily NSAID, and soaked grain to stay comfortable in the pasture, but is otherwise easy to care for. He can be stalled at night or live outside 24/7 with shelter, can be on grass, and can be pastured with mares, geldings, donkeys, or ponies. Macho would do best as a companion horse in a quiet home with other horses and people who understand his gentle but independent nature. He is currently a member of our volunteer groom team and loves getting attention, being groomed, and going for walks.
He’s ready to enjoy a relaxed life with someone who will give him the kindness and patience he deserves, he is truly a sweet gentleman with good manners and would love to be a part of your herd.

MoreMisty is a sweet, personable, and incredibly pretty 20-year-old fleabitten grey mare who charms everyone she meets. She arrived with us as a devoted mama with her foal at her side, who has since been successfully weaned. Now, Misty is enjoying her well-earned “me time” and is thriving in a peaceful herd of mares.
Misty does well both stalled and living outside with appropriate shelter, and she settles easily into herd life. While she is very kind and people-oriented, Misty does best with a confident, consistent handler, as she can occasionally be reactive to certain situations. With calm, clear handling, she is a lovely partner to work around.
Due to her age and life experience, Misty is being offered as a companion horse. She came to us with very poor feet, but with consistent, quality farrier care and glue-on shoes, her thin soles are being managed well and continuing to improve.
With proper care, she will make a wonderful, gentle addition to any herd and a steady companion for another horse in need of a friend.
