Dolly-Sue
Breed: American Paint Horse
Sex: Mare
Age: 13
Height: 14.0hh
Color: Chestnut Paint
Suitable for: Pasture pet, Non- Riding Companion
Adoption Fee: $350
9🌸 Painted to Perfection — and Perfectly Happy to Stay in the Pasture 🌸
Meet Dolly-Sue, a 13-year-old paint mare who’s absolutely gorgeous and knows it… but don’t expect her to do much more than look fabulous while standing in a field. If your dream horse is one you never have to take out of the pasture, congratulations — your search is over. 😎😂
Dolly-Sue is a social butterfly who loves attention, scratches, and hanging out with her herd (and yes, she’s even lived with cows — she’s very open-minded 🐄). She’ll greet you at the gate, pose for photos, and soak up all the love... as long as things stay calm.
🔥 Here’s the deal: Dolly-Sue is a great pasture companion, not a project or performance horse. She can bolt in stressful situations — and not like, a dainty “oopsie” trot-off… more like, “new personal best in the 100m dash.” 😂 So she’s not a match for kids, beginners, or showing.
But if you want a sweet, funny, and drama-free mare who’ll keep the whole herd happy and charm every human she meets, Dolly-Sue is your girl. She gets along with everyone — horses, cows, people, she’s even good for farrier & vet and she’ll happily supervise pasture life like the pretty little queen she is. 👑
Due to her persistent ability to exit the situation, along with some soundness issues under saddle, she is being adopted as
companion only
Valentine
Breed: Grade
Sex: Mare
Age: 2
Height: 13.1
Color: Chestnut
Adoption Fee: $1000
Suitable For: Adopter with previous horse starting experience, or experienced handler working closely with trainer
5/27/25
Valentine is 2 year old grade pony mare that was originally rounded up from the feral strip mine herds in Kentucky, and was still believed to be in foal when she was transferred to us in December, but it turned out not to be the case. Since December she has lived the life of a pregnant mare while learning the basics of handling & beginning the process of becoming a good equine citizen (while being just a youngster herself.) As we've recently confirmed she's not in foal, she's ready to find her perfect home
Shes smart, curious and with all the sass of the true toddler she is. Valentine is fun & engaging to work with, a true blank slate & a beautiful mover! Valentine will need an adopter with prior horse starting experience- or an experienced handler working closely with a trainer.
At just 2, she's not ready to be started under saddle, but her adopter can begin training and laying all the ground work
She is not yet a kids pony, or ready to be handled by children,
She IS ready to have some fun & start learning everything from the ground up!
Mariah
Breed: Pony
Sex: Mare
Age: 25+
Height: 12.2hh
Color: Black
Adoption Fee: $350 (eligible for fee-waived companion adoption)
What she lacks in size, this pony makes up for in personality. Mariah is a fun and spunky old gal who is 25+ (she feels it’s impolite to ask a lady her age).
As with all ponies, she requires proper pasture management in order to maintain her health. Mariah did not have any formal under saddle training in her younger years, but does enjoy being groomed. She has Cushing’s disease and requires Prascend along with soaked feed, though she can still graze and eats hay along with soaked hay cubes
Mariah is a fun little pony with lots of spunk and personality, she is sweet and social and does well in a group of horses. Mariah is looking for her next partner in crime and would love to have a nice retirement home as a companion.
Prince
Breed: Miniature Horse
Sex: Gelding
Age: Mid 20's
Height: 30in.
Color: Buckskin
Adoption Fee: $350
Prince lives up to his name, he's a well behaved and kind gentleman, and low man in his little herd of mini mares. He has PPID (Cushings) requires 1/2 tab of Prascend daily (and a little creativity feeding it to him) We do not have much information on his previous training, though it was reported he had some driving instruction a few years back. We do know that in hand, he's charming! and good for the farrier as well! He arrived a *bit* overweight, and his ideal adopter will be knowledgeable in mini nutritional needs (hint- less is more) and have appropriate pasture for his needs... Looking for an excellent walking partner? Perfect - Prince can keep you company while you help him get back to a healthy weight
Prince is up to date with medical, dental & farrier
Checkers (Checker Board)
Breed: Miniature Horse
Sex: Gelding (gelded 11/11/25)
Height: 28 in.
Color: Chestnut & White pinto
Adoption Fee:
$350
DOB: Approx 2022
Checkers is a super cute, flashy paint miniature horse who was gelded in November 2025, after spending 23 years as a stallion. He still acts stud-like when the ladies are in sight, so he cannot live with mares yet, he's lived solo his entire life, and we have not introduced him to other gelding herd mates yet, but we hope to in the near future.
Checkers has no training under saddle or in harness, and he has good basic handling manners, is good with the farrier, and is learning to stand quietly for the vet. He’s not ready to be a kids’ horse or therapy mini—he’s still spicy and needs an experienced, confident handler.
Like all ponies, Checkers requires a dry lot with little to no grass to maintain a healthy hooves & get his weight under control. Interested in a walking companion or mini who may want to learn liberty work?
This adorable dude does have the have the potential to become a wonderful companion. He just needs the right person to help settle this small but mighty guy into his new life as a gelding.
Checkers is up to date with medical/ dental/ farrier.

Major is a super cute, flashy paint miniature horse who was gelded in November 2025, after spending 25 years as a stallion. He still acts studdy at times, so he cannot live with mares yet and needs more time before joining a full herd of geldings. For now, he’s pastured with a calm older full size horse gelding as he learns proper social skills.
Major has no training under saddle or in harness, and he has good basic handling manners, is good with the farrier, and is learning to stand quietly for the vet. He’s not ready to be a kids’ horse or therapy mini—he’s still spicy and needs an experienced, confident handler.

Sweetie
Breed: Miniature Horse
Sex: Mare
Age: 26
Height: 30in.
Color:
Silver Bay
Adoption Fee:
$350
Personality: True to her name, Sweetie has a kind and gentle spirit. After a fairly quiet former life, she's learning to live with other ponies. She has excellent in hand skills but appreciates a quieter approach
Training: Sweetie has no formal training experience, so she’ll thrive best in a home that appreciates her as a companion rather than a working horse.
Children: We don’t know if she’s had exposure to children, so introductions should be made slowly and thoughtfully.
Health: Sweetie has a history of mild founder (diagnostic films available). To keep her comfortable and healthy, she requires a dry lot/ no grass pasture and mindful management of her diet.
Sweetie is up to date with medical/ dental/ farrier.
