Bea

Sex: Mare

Year of Birth:  2010

Breed:  Haflinger

Height:  12.2
Suitable For:
Non-Riding Companion

Adoption Fee:$350

Meet Bea, a Haflinger mare with a lot of personality. Bea came to us as with chronic laminitis,, rotation,  and high insulin levels, and PPID.  She is doing well with glue on shoes, an appropriate diet and medication(s)

Bea is spunky, sassy, and does best with a confident, experienced handler as she needs consistency to maintain her manners. She is currently best suited as a companion horse and would make a gorgeous pasture addition. She can live stalled or outside with shelter, trailers well, and gets along with mares, geldings, ponies, and donkeys.  She will need a low to No grass pasture.

Bea is currently sound (with maintenance) she has a reported history of being ridden, she has not been evaluated under saddle.

Blaze

Breed:  Shetland Pony gelding

Name: Blaze

DOB:  2017

Height: ~11.1 hands

Color:  Bay with blaze

Adoption Fee: $500

Blaze is an eye-catching, charismatic pony with presence well beyond his size. With his flashy movement and charming expression, he looks like a living Breyer horse—and he turns heads everywhere he goes. This adorable Shetland-type pony is truly one of the cutest we’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Blaze is  hand walking over a variety of trail-style obstacles, including water, bridges, tires, poles, and gazebos. He is curious,  and enjoys figuring things out with his handler when given clear & calm guidance. He leads nicely once caught and shows good manners on the lead line.

While we do not have confirmed information on any prior training, Blaze has already shown that he could excel in many different directions with continued education. He is intelligent, engaging, and learns best when things are introduced in a calm, consistent, and supportive way.

Blaze is still building confidence and routine handling skills. He can sometimes take a moment to be caught and is not considered kid-safe at this time, though this is expected to improve with time, experience, and consistent training. He has made excellent progress with farrier work since arriving and may continue to do best with frequent trims as his feet recover from their previous condition.

He does best living outside in a herd environment and can show extreme distress when stalled ( due to previous history) He can live with a mixed herd,

**He will also require a carefully managed, low-to-no grass pasture to support both his hoof health and weight, as there is evidence of previous laminitis seen on radiographs.**

Blaze is full of personality and promise. He is a super flashy mover, naturally curious, and endlessly charming. This is a pony who truly oozes charisma and has the potential to go in many different directions with the right partner.

For someone with the skill to bring along a project with heart, talent, and plenty of upside, Blaze is an unforgettable pony with a very bright future ahead.

Dolly-Sue

Breed: American Paint Horse

Sex: Mare

DOB: 2012

Height: 14.0hh

Color: Chestnut Paint
Suitable for: Pasture pet, Non- Riding Companion
Adoption Fee:  $350 (Eligible for fee-waived companion adoption)

🌸 Painted to Perfection — and Perfectly Happy to Stay in the Pasture 🌸

Meet Dolly-Sue, a 13-year-old paint mare who’s absolutely gorgeous and knows it… but don’t expect her to do much more than look fabulous while standing in a field. If your dream horse is one you never have to take out of the pasture, congratulations — your search is over. 😎😂

Dolly-Sue is a social butterfly who loves attention, scratches, and hanging out with her herd (and yes, she’s even lived with cows — she’s very open-minded 🐄). She’ll greet you at the gate, pose for photos, and soak up all the love... as long as things stay calm.

🔥 Here’s the deal:  Dolly-Sue is a great pasture companion, not a project or performance horse. She can bolt in stressful situations — and not like, a dainty “oopsie” trot-off… more like, “new personal best in the 100m dash.” 😂 So she’s not a match for kids, beginners, or showing.

But if you want a sweet, funny, and drama-free mare who’ll keep the whole herd happy and charm every human she meets, Dolly-Sue is your girl. She gets along with everyone — horses, cows, people, she’s even good for farrier & vet and she’ll happily supervise pasture life like the pretty little queen she is. 👑

Due to her persistent ability to exit the situation, along with some soundness issues under saddle, she is being adopted as companion only

Sex: Gelding

DOB - 4/1/2003, and 11/1/2007

Height: 12.0hh

Color: Bay

Fee:  $600

 Suitable for:  Companion, Driving

Meet Chris & OnStar, a sweet and special pair looking for a home together!

These two geldings were a driving team for many years and share a strong bond, so they are being offered as a pair. Now retired, they’re ready to enjoy a quieter life with someone who will give them the care and comfort they deserve.

Chris (19) and OnStar (23) are both kind, well-mannered horses who have clearly benefited from their time in a working partnership. They lead well, handle nicely, and stand fairly well for the vet and farrier. They can live outside or be stalled, depending on your setup.

Both boys do require maintenance and will need a knowledgeable home that can manage their weight and limit grass intake to keep them healthy and feeling their best. They can be a bit nervous at times and may occasionally be hard to catch, but with patience and consistency, they settle in and build trust.

If you’re looking to give a deserving duo a soft landing and a loving retirement home, Chris and OnStar would make wonderful companions. They’re ready to bring their gentle personalities and long-time partnership to their next chapter!

Adopt Me!

Rosie

Breed: Pony Cross

Sex: Mare

Color: Pinto

Age : 15

Heightt:~10 hh

Adoption fee: $350

Rosie is a super spunky little pony mare with a big personality and “super stinkin’ cute” looks to match! She loves her friends and thrives in a herd setting, bringing plenty of fun energy to the pasture.

Rosie does require some special care—she has a history of laminitis and resulting rotation,  which is currently managed with glue-on shoes.  Along with insulin resistance, which requires meds at this time   With appropriate diet, weight loss and pasture management, she is on the road to health ~ and can stay there with a home willing to keep her on track- It sounds a little intimidating, but we promise, this lively, lovable pony is worth the TLC!

Adopt Me!

Tango

Breed: Draft x Welsh Pony Cross

Sex: Gelding

DOB - 7/6/2013

Height: 13.2

Color: Dun

Fee: $500

Suitable for:  Non- Riding companion, or Lead line Kids

Tango is a strikingly handsome Cream Draft/Welsh cross with a big personality and undeniable charm. He’s incredibly cute, friendly, and loves interacting with people — a true heart-stealer.

Tango has the basics of handling in place, including leading, walking, grooming, and standing for the vet and farrier, but can be pushy as his manners are rusty and requires a confident handler to help him stay mannerly during handling. Because of this he is not yet a kids horse.

He does well in a herd setting and can be pastured with mares, geldings, ponies, and miniature horses. Currently, he lives with a mixed herd on a grass free pasture, and is outside 24/7

Tango is available as a non-riding companion only due to poor confirmation, arthritis, and mild rotation in front hooves., and requires daily nsaid to be pasture sound (xrays available to adopter). His feet are being managed successfully with regular trims and proper care, and glue on shoes   Because of his history, he requires pasture and diet management, ideally a dry lot or very limited grass, along with close attention to his weight. With the right management, he can live a comfortable pasture life and would also make a great friend or companion.

Tango is truly a sweet, charming, and very photogenic little horse who would love a family to call his own. If you are looking for the perfect little gelding to add to your herd, Tango is your guy- just click on the "adopt me" button below!
