Ponies and Minis
Blaze
Breed: Shetland Pony gelding
Name: Blaze
DOB: 2017
Height:
Color: Bay with blaze
Adoption Fee: $500
This adorable Shetland project pony is one of the cutest we've ever seen!
Blaze is a super flashy mover! He's curious and charming and looks like a living breyer horse!
*We do not have any information on what training Blaze may have had* He could excel in many directions!
He has made great progress with the farrier behavior since his arrival, and may continue to do best with frequent trims until his feet fully recover from their arrival condition.
We would not consider him kid safe at present, but that should change with time & training. He has nice manners on a lead line, but can take a minute to be caught. He does best living outside with a herd, but can be stalled with a friend in sight He needs a low/no grass pasture to help keep his feet & weight healthy, he has evidence of previous laminitis on films
This pony oozes charisma, has a ton of potential, and could be trained in many directions!

Chickie
Breed: Pony
Sex: Mare
Age: 25
Height: 12.3hh
Color:
Sorrel
Suitable for:
Companion
Adoption Fee: $350
Available for adoption starting 4/9 at Equine Affaire!
Meet Chickie! A super sweet pony mare with a heart of gold!
Chickie is the definition of a kind companion. She has excellent manners on the ground—she leads politely, has learned to stand quietly for the vet and farrier, and is a pleasure to handle. She’s confident, trailers well, and settles nicely in a stall, making her a fun addition to any barn.
We popped our pony tester on her back, and it's evident she's an old pro and toting kids around- she does need to regain weight and muscle before assuming a relaxed job. She arrived thin with untreated Cushing's, but is steadily regaining health.
She is a very social little pony who gets along beautifully with others, including mares, ponies, drafts, and more. Whether living in a herd or a quieter setup, Chickie is happiest being part of the group.
Chickie has Cushing’s and requires 1/2 tab of peroglide a day, plus a soaked feed diet to keep her feeling her best. But still enjoys munching on regular hay, and can have some grass. She has some age-appropriate hock arthritis. (films available) With proper care, she will thrive!
If you’re looking for a gentle, well-mannered companion pony to add to your herd, Chickie could be the perfect fit. She’s as sweet as they come and ready to bring calm, kindness, and friendship to her new home.
Dolly-Sue
Breed: American Paint Horse
Sex: Mare
DOB: 2012
Height: 14.0hh
Color: Chestnut Paint
Suitable for: Pasture pet, Non- Riding Companion
Adoption Fee: $350
🌸 Painted to Perfection — and Perfectly Happy to Stay in the Pasture 🌸
Meet Dolly-Sue, a 13-year-old paint mare who’s absolutely gorgeous and knows it… but don’t expect her to do much more than look fabulous while standing in a field. If your dream horse is one you never have to take out of the pasture, congratulations — your search is over. 😎😂
Dolly-Sue is a social butterfly who loves attention, scratches, and hanging out with her herd (and yes, she’s even lived with cows — she’s very open-minded 🐄). She’ll greet you at the gate, pose for photos, and soak up all the love... as long as things stay calm.
🔥 Here’s the deal: Dolly-Sue is a great pasture companion, not a project or performance horse. She can bolt in stressful situations — and not like, a dainty “oopsie” trot-off… more like, “new personal best in the 100m dash.” 😂 So she’s not a match for kids, beginners, or showing.
But if you want a sweet, funny, and drama-free mare who’ll keep the whole herd happy and charm every human she meets, Dolly-Sue is your girl. She gets along with everyone — horses, cows, people, she’s even good for farrier & vet and she’ll happily supervise pasture life like the pretty little queen she is. 👑
Due to her persistent ability to exit the situation, along with some soundness issues under saddle, she is being adopted as
companion only
Keeper
Breed: Shetland Pony gelding
DOB: 2013
Color: Bay & White pinto
Adoption Fee: $500
Height: 10.3 hh
Available for adoption starting 4/9 at Equine Affaire!
Keeper is a handsome painted pony with a whole lot of personality packed into a small frame. He is a true blank slate, and although he has no prior training for driving or riding, he could go in any direction with the right training.
Keeper does well living in a herd and would make a fun, engaging addition your farm. He is social, friendly, and handles well for daily life (outside of injections, which he is not a big fan of). Keeper will need diet management as his X-rays show previous laminitic episodes, and has a cribbing habit
If you’re looking for a lively pony with a big personality, Keeper could be a great fit! He is not a kid’s pony at this moment in time, but with the right training he could certainly get there in the future. Keeper has tons of potential and is just looking for that right person to let him shine.

Mariah
Breed: Pony
Sex: Mare
Age: 25+
Height: 12.2hh
Color: Black
Adoption Fee: $350 (eligible for fee-waived companion adoption)
What she lacks in size, this pony makes up for in personality. Mariah is a fun and spunky old gal who is 25+ (she feels it’s impolite to ask a lady her age).
As with all ponies, she requires proper pasture management in order to maintain her health. Mariah did not have any formal under saddle training in her younger years, but does enjoy being groomed. She has Cushing’s disease and requires Prascend along with soaked feed, though she can still graze and eats hay along with soaked hay cubes
Mariah is a fun little pony with lots of spunk and personality, she is sweet and social and does well in a group of horses. Mariah is looking for her next partner in crime and would love to have a nice retirement home as a companion.

OnStar and Chris (Chrismatic)
Breed: Hackney
Sex: Gelding
DOB - 4/1/2003, and 11/1/2007
Height: 12.0hh
Color: Bay
Fee: $600
Suitable for: Companion, Driving
Meet Chris & OnStar, a sweet and special pair looking for a home together!
These two geldings were a driving team for many years and share a strong bond, so they are being offered as a pair. Now retired, they’re ready to enjoy a quieter life with someone who will give them the care and comfort they deserve.
Chris (19) and OnStar (23) are both kind, well-mannered horses who have clearly benefited from their time in a working partnership. They lead well, handle nicely, and stand fairly well for the vet and farrier. They can live outside or be stalled, depending on your setup.
Both boys do require maintenance and will need a knowledgeable home that can manage their weight and limit grass intake to keep them healthy and feeling their best. They can be a bit nervous at times and may occasionally be hard to catch, but with patience and consistency, they settle in and build trust.
If you’re looking to give a deserving duo a soft landing and a loving retirement home, Chris and OnStar would make wonderful companions. They’re ready to bring their gentle personalities and long-time partnership to their next chapter!

Tango
Breed: Draft x Welsh Pony Cross
Sex: Gelding
DOB - 7/6/2013
Height: 13.2
Color: Dun
Fee: $500
Suitable for: Non- Riding companion, or Lead line Kids
Available for adoption starting 4/9 at Equine Affaire!
Tango is a strikingly handsome Cream Draft/Welsh cross with a big personality and undeniable charm. He’s incredibly cute, friendly, and loves interacting with people — a true heart-stealer.
Tango has the basics of handling in place, including leading, walking, grooming, and standing for the vet and farrier, but can be pushy as his manners are rusty and requires a confident handler to help him stay mannerly during handling. Because of this he is not yet a kids horse.
He does well in a herd setting and can be pastured with mares, geldings, ponies, and miniature horses. Currently, he lives with pony geldings and settles in nicely with them.
Tango is available as a non-riding companion only due to poor confirmation, arthritis, and mild rotation in front hooves., and requires daily nsaid to be pasture sound (xrays available to adopter). His feet are being managed successfully with regular trims and proper care. Because of his history, he requires pasture and diet management, ideally a dry lot or very limited grass, along with close attention to his weight. With the right management, he can live a comfortable pasture life and would also make a great friend or companion.
Tango is truly a sweet, charming, and very photogenic little horse who would love a family to call his own. If you are looking for the perfect little gelding to add to your herd, Tango is your guy- just click on the "adopt me" button below!

Sex: Mare
DOB: Approx 1/1/2023
Height: 13.1
Color: Chestnut
Adoption Fee: $1000
Suitable For: Adopter with previous horse starting experience, or experienced handler working closely with trainer
Available for adoption starting 4/9 at Equine Affaire!
Meet Valentine! A bright and promising young pony with a big future ahead of her!
This smart and curious 3-year-old mare came from a feral strip mine herd in Kentucky and has already made incredible progress since entering training. Once a true blank slate, Valentine is now thriving in a consistent, structured program where she’s learning the foundations she’ll need for a successful riding career.
Valentine has developed solid groundwork skills, including lunging and respectful handling, and continues to build confidence with everyday essentials. She stands well for the vet and farrier, leads nicely, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people. Her intelligence, willingness to learn, and naturally engaging personality make her a fun and rewarding project for the right person.
She’s still very much a youngster—full of curiosity, a little sass, and lots of potential, and is just about ready to be started under saddle! She is well on her way and will benefit from an adopter with prior horse-starting experience or someone working closely with a trainer.
Valentine gets along well in a herd of mares and can live outside with shelter or be stalled. She is not suitable as a children’s pony at this time but is an ideal candidate for someone looking to bring along a young horse from the ground up.
With her lovely movement, sharp mind, and strong start, Valentine is ready to find her person to continue her journey and unlock all the potential she has to offer.
