Welcome to our Barn Tour!

Hello and welcome to the Horses' Haven Virtual Barn Tour. My name is Rose, and I will be your tour guide today. Those of you who have taken the tour before, will be familiar with my Dad, Frosty. He conducted tours here at Horses' Haven for many years until he went to horse heaven in July of 2006.

His passing left a huge void here at Horses' Haven. My dad was so special to me that I wanted to do something to help keep his spirit alive and honor him, so decided to take over his barn tour duties.

I realize I probably won't be able to give the tour the same flavour as he did, but I hope you still enjoy it.

First let me tell you how I came to Horses' Haven. My story is not a sad one as so many here are. I actually had a very wonderful home and a good life.

My Dad's passing, however got me to thinking about my retirement and how I could still be useful in my golden years (sorry, no age disclosure is going to happen here). So, I decided to come to Horses' Haven and take over the very important work my father started.

I've decided to keep some parts of the tour as my Dad created them, and to others I will add my own style (my Dad always wanted me to be my own horse).

Of course, like all of the retirees here at Horses' Haven, I am looking for sponsors to come out and visit me and supplement my retirement. Please check out our sponsorship information for further details on helping out as one of my sponsors.

As we proceed on the tour, please remember to pick up some treats from the bin on the way in - some of our residents expect them and things can turn ugly fast if you show up empty-handed. Also, please stay together (no wandering off) and feel free to ask questions - we're rather informal here.

We'll start our tour today with the horses. So if you would please click on the Virtual Barn Tour Menu, then select Horses, then select the first horse on the list, we can proceed. As we enter the barn, prepare yourself for a truly unique and exciting experience."
