Although many of our rescued animals are older or have medical problems that require special care and have found their forever homes at Horses' Haven, we also have several healthy, younger horses that are looking for new homes and their very own people to love them. Covergirl
Bay Morgan cross mare, around 12-13 years old (in 2011). 15 hands. Broke to ride. Sound and easy keeper. Covergirl was a seizure from an animal control court case. She needs a confident rider.
Freebie
Bay Standardbred gelding. 4 years old (in 2011). 15 hands. Sound and personality plus! Freebie is always in your pocket, loves people and is very sweet! He was would make a great kids horse with some training.
Ozzy
Brown Quarter Horse//Thoroughbred cross gelding. 4 years old (in 2011). 16.2 hands. Not broke. Brought to Horses’ Haven as a 2yr old stallion in need of foot surgery. Now sound and ready. Pretty head and smart, great dressage prospect!
Moses
Bay grade gelding. 4 years old (in 2011). 15.1 hands. Half brother to Joey. Not broke but a really nice guy and a quick learner. Sound and easily handled. Would be an easy project for someone.
Cloud
Palamino Overo Pinto gelding. Belgian/Paint cross. 4 years old (in 2011). 16 hands. Not broke but ready for a job. Sensible and loves people. He was a starvation rescue. Before and after pics on HH website. Sound and sane!
Willow
Bay pony mare. 10 plus years old (in 2011). Big pony, sound and easy keeper. Broken to ride. Owner donated. Would make a great 4-H project!
Joey
Adadulsian look-alike grey dapple grade gelding. Coming 4 year old (in 2011). 14.2 hands. Sound but spirited, full of energy! Not broke but smart. Beauty! Seizure from animal control.
